Landmark to go from Auckland's most spectacular archaeological site
The famous pine of One Tree Hill is to be cut down tomorrow after a 125 year reign on top of the Auckland landmark.
The Auckland City Council had earlier said the damaged tree would have to come down before Christmas but announced its sudden demise a short time ago.
