Associate Arts, Culture and Heritage Minister Judith Tizard today praised the J. Paul Getty Trust for awarding $100,000 from the prestigious Getty Grant Program to the Antarctic Heritage Trust.

The move by the Historic Places Trust to classify the former Mercury Energy building in Newmarket has upset mall developer Westfield, which wants to build a $300 million shopping centre on the site.
