Scoop Archive: Getty Grant For Antarctic Heritage Trust Welcomed
Associate Arts, Culture and Heritage Minister Judith Tizard today praised the J. Paul Getty Trust for awarding $100,000 from the prestigious Getty Grant Program to the Antarctic Heritage Trust.

The New Zealand Historic Places Trust has imposed conditions on the granting of three archaeological authorities applied for by Transit New Zealand, thereby ensuring the best possible outcome for the heritage that will be affected by Wellington's planned Inner City Bypass.

Trust bid puts kink in Westfield plans
The move by the Historic Places Trust to classify the former Mercury Energy building in Newmarket has upset mall developer Westfield, which wants to build a $300 million shopping centre on the site.
